Building and Grounds
Parish Hall with all the work that needs to be done to maintain our facility both inside and out. It also lists all the jobs that need to be done. There is an opportunity for each person to sign up for a job that they are willing to work on with others. Please look at this sheet the next time you are in the Parish Hall.
The grounds of our building are presently in fairly good shape. That is because a dedicated group of four people work on the gardens, pathways, pots etc all spring, summer, and fall. One of our members is no longer able to join us this season and we really need additional help. Are you a gardener? Do you like to work outside? Would you like to work with us? If so, please contact Bob Carmichael at 486-0808.
Our facility, however, is not in good shape and has many problems that need to be solved. We will be convening a group to work on dealing with the facility in the long range. That committee will be headed by myself and consists of Marge Lutzvick, Pam Crockett, Gary Grewell, Collie Liska and one more who has yet to be named. This committee will be developing potential solutions to offer the congregation as we move toward consensus as to how to deal with these problems. But the building cannot wait for certain things and we all know that it needs some “fix-up, paint-up” projects immediately. If you enjoy doing that sort of thing, please let Gary Grewell know by calling him at 438-0706.
Thank you for your attention to this. Any contribution that you can make will be very appreciated!
