Interested in Baptism, Reaffirmation of the Baptismal Vows in Confirmation, Reception or Reaffirmation

If you are thinking about being baptized or renewing your Baptismal vows before the bishop, talk with Georgi about your interest.  You are encouraged to participate in the Sunday Growing in Christ series. This class is not only the St. Benedict's "preparation" for an adult commitment, but a good opportunity  for all to grow in faith and community support.  The class meets after the 10:00 service at 11:30 in the St. Frances room.  Candidates for an adult sacrament of Baptism and Reaffirmation will celebrate several rites along the journey.  These rites are times to mark a transition into the next stage of the process and to witness to the parish growth in commitment and to seek the support of the entire congregation as the individuals move toward a sacramental  event of Christian inclusion and faith.  Individuals journeying to Baptism and Reaffirmation travel with a sponsor, a special faith friend.  Georgi and Martha Liska can answer your questions and help you find a sponsor.
