Consecration of the Rev. Gregory Rickel

On Saturday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue Washington, there will be a consecration litany to mark a new season of ministry that the diocesan community will share with the person we have called to be our diocesan bishop, The Rev. Gregory Rickel. The consecration litany is a time when we are reminded that we are all part of Christ’s body, regardless of varying faces and traditions. Besides just going to the Consecration there are numerous ways of  serving. Many liturgical ministers are needed from all four orders of ministry, as are youth and adult singers to perform in the choir and Eucharistic Visitors who will spread the glad tidings of the celebration and Eucharist to those unable to attend.
